Project 365

Well... project 365. I was inspired by another person who was doing this. 365 pictures, a picture a day (at least). It's simple really - take a picture a day to capture the day in image(s). A different way of blogging or journalling to document the passing of time, the experiences of life, the people places and things that are important on any given day, or that stand out on any given day. I love it!!!

So yes, some written word here to set you up, to explain the project. I will try to let the images speak for themselves - however I suppose from time to time my necessity to use language to express myself or explain will interfere and undoubtedly words will be written on the page :) I am getting that out now, and giving myself permission to stray in that regard :) I do hope however to honour the 365. I realize I may not always post on the actual day the photos were taken, but I will save them and post them in sequence with the date taken (again, permission to be okay with real life interfering with special projects - strive for excellence, not perfection)!!!




So.... January 1st 2009:






i LOVE these fridge calendars!!! I've had them for so many years now, I'm not sure how many exactly... but I also love the symbolic gesture of switching to the new year, taking down the old, putting up the new - the fresh start, the clean slate, all those cliches!!! Sure, it's cliche, it's obvious... still, I love it. Same with starting a new daytimer each September of University. There's just something hopeful, undetermined, and full of possibilities about it :)
